    How is the A7N8X more advanced feature wise than the P4PE?, lets review, AGP x8 is more or less bullshit and only a marketing gimmick that offers no actual performance boost and nothing more, same goes for dual DDR which offers a measly performance difference that shows almost only in memory benchmarks and nothing else thus making you spend more money on two DIMMs for no sufficient reason.

    the sound card on the A7N8X might be better than the one on the P4PE but thats about it. on the other hand the P4PE has raid and a gigabit ethernet card that the A7N8X doesnt include, though the probability the buyer will need either is questionable as well.

    Now to address other notations you made:

    Indeed if going for the A7N8X you do not need the Fortissimo its only needed in the Intel system.

    The performance difference between the radeon 9500 pro and the 9700 pro is quite significant, and it also fits the budget once cutting to a smaller Monitor.

    As for the screen it was cut down to 17 inch in order to increase the performance of the system itself, it can easily be mended if wanted by replacing the 9700 pro to a 9500 pro.

    It all depends if the buyer wants a larger screen or a better card which is strictly a personal decision for the buyer to make.

    I chose because they produce topnotch memory in any caliber though Extreme is indeed a reasonable replacement.

    The Enermax case is pretty much a waste of money when the HEC and Compucase case provide a good solution and offer a great price/performance ratio, 400 nis extra is a lot to pay for an insignificant difference that is only the look of the system.

    To summerize the only actual meaningful notation you made is the size of the monitor which is as i mentioned a decision for the buyer.

    This is an intel based system that fits the budget you could replace the CPU for an XP2400+ and the board with an Asus A7N8X if you want based, cost remains the same.

    This System has good overclocking potential, great peripherals and fits the budget exactly.

    As for the absurd remarks that were made about RDRAM before it has no problems resulting from overheating the only downside of RDRAM is its ludicrous price. RDRAM offers an insignificant (8% or so) performance boost while the price difference is very significant (a 256 mb module of RDRAM PC4200 costs like a 512 mb module of PC3000) hence making RDRAM a bad choice.

    Tribes 1 and Tribes 2

    I was wondering if anyone here owns a copy of Tribes1 or Tribes2, as most of you probably dont know both games have a small yet alive community in israel that can use any extra player in order to get an active server and run a more or less active community with games matches clans and such.

    If any of you owns either of the games and will want to participate in such a community please post here or private message me, currently there isnt a server for either of the games in israel due to lack of players, which is casued mostly because neither of them was properly sold or published in israel.

    The more active players we can get will surely contribute to the effort of getting a server and then starting a live community.

    At the moment most Israeli Tribes1 and Tribes2 players play in europe in top clans and contribute to the european community, but we would still like to have an active community inside israel and ofcourse get a server atlast.

    First of all I dont get why you need overclocking for such a CPU but anyway with those temps its too hot for its own speed not to talk about temps

    i have an 1800+ with the same case f but from chieftech with 5 80 mm fans and i have system temp of 26 and CPU of 48 with no air-conditioning

    you should get a good HSF and put some AS3 or nanotherm on your CPU asap.

    personally i have the volcano 7+ which is good for a reasonable price if u can afford the SK600 its even better.
