Go to the option, Connect -> Option -> Advanced, mark DCC and mark use random ports. Should work.
If you have a router, make sure you forward port 6667 and you might also want to choose a specific range of ports in the IRC options and forward them all to your computer aswell.
-
The only problem with that is that bezeq/ISPs don't offer support to users that use none standard gear.
Another downside that if you rent the modem from bezeq if an upgrade becomes necessary they usually comes and replace your modem.
However it's likely this will be cheaper than getting a regular router and a modem from bezeq.
-
Most routers have an interface you enter using a browser by connecting to the local IP of the router where you configure everything.
I personally have an Edimax router and I'm very pleased, but D-Link/Linksys are also considered as excellent brands.
Don't know which modems bezeq offer these days, usually anything by Alcatal is good.
-
You indeed need a modem that connects to an RJ45 port for the WAN, perhaps there are USB adapters though I've never seen any. As for the firewall, in most routers the firewall is a NAT based firewall and also options to block ping/port scanning and other DoS attacks.
A NAT based firewall basically closes all of the ports in the computer except those you specifically open (by allowing protocols or by manually forwarding ports/setting virtual servers on your computer), this provides a rather good protection and allows you to keep your computer relatively safe however I still prefer using a software based firewall aswell with my router.
A print server allows you to easily share printers on the network though the router itself it's nothing you can't do by simply connecting the printer to one server which will act as a print server on the local network (very simple to configure in Windows).

512 mb cards won't do anything for the image quality, something is probably lost in the image compared to playing it in person, none of the images I saw online (even in reviews and hardware site reviews) looked THAT amazing.
The Ultra Quality option looks 99 % identical to high quality, the only difference is uncompressed lightening (read the coverage at [H]).
Also about filters, when you choose High Quality you automatically turn on AFx8, so nothing to say about filters.

[ltr]Never thought you meant physically ugly obviosuly, nevermind though.
You seem to have done very well aswell, I just wanted something above 80
[/ltr]
-
[ltr]Not 100, we both did the same mistake, and besides, I'll lose points on the end, I always do.
Didn't get your point about the "ugly", what's so wrong about being happy about a test that went well?.[/ltr]

I did 25-28 (Didn't bother studying tezurat shem), once again, everything we both did is identical
.
Do you happen to know the answer to 28 , I'm not so sure about what I did in the first part.
-
Orip, I did exactly 100 % identical to what you did, everything right except that single mistake.

400 per purchase, not a day, atleast on my card.
The limitations to the best of my knowledge are:
-Maximum overdraft of 400 nis
-Maximum 400 nis per purchase
-Maximum 150 nis a day for ATM withdrawl
-Limited to Israel only.

Get any memory sinks, they're all the same, might aswell get the cheapest ones.
Also, you should know the only effective way of connecting memory sinks is with thermal epoxy and then you can't remove them, it voids the card's warranty.
-
Get the VGA Silencer, it's cheaper and better, and like it's name, it's very quiet.
It's also very simple to install.

You have a 875P board while hck has a 865PE board, the PAT and other stuff create a difference of 200-400 points in memory bandwidth benchmark, that's why the score seems "low" to you. Keep in mind that the performance difference in actual applications in games is no where near to the difference in memory bandwidth.
Regardless, I have ADATA PC4000 aswell, and they run as high as 274-275 FSB 1:1 with timings of 3-4-4-7, at 250 FSB they run 2.5-4-3-5 and at 200 FSB 2-3-3-5. The memory bandwidth scores I get are about the same as hck, perhaps a little bit higher.
I might post some pics later.

-
On second though, take a SiS 655TX board like the Asus P4S800D.
Regardless, we went totally off topic, if you have questions about a motherboard or memory open a new thread, that's what the forum is for.
-
With a 1.6A there's no need for PC4000 DDR, you won't even get to PC3200 speeds.
Don't get the BH7, get something based on 865PE, it's so cheap already and there's no point in buying an old chipset.
-
They didn't say their results are odd, their results make a lot of sense, what good does a lot of memory bandwidth do when the RAM sends data once in more cycles, it makes perfect sense.
4:5 with good best timings is a bit better than 1:1 with horrible timings, atleast at these speeds.
If i'll have patience I'll test it on my own next week.
-
The memory bandwidth performance you experience is also a result of increased CPU speed, you don't have the ability to run both 200 FSB and 250 FSB with the same CPU speed with the same CPU.
Check this PC3200 speed vs PC4200 speed, both 1:1 for both and same speed with 4:5 divider.
266 FSB with 4:5 and great timings beats 1:1 with mediocre timings.
-
I mean performance in memory bandwidth benchmarks and general benchmarks.
Anandtech took a P4 with an open multiplier and ran 250x12 and 200x15 (I think these were the speeds) to get PC4000 at 3-4-48 and PC3200 2-2-2-5 with the same CPU speed and the PC3200 did better in some of the gaming benchmarks.
-
It certainly does.
Lower timings always give better performance, regardless of the speed, and it can be considerable, the PC4000 running 3-4-4-8 is almost weaker than PC3200 2-2-2-5.
-
Not to mention that 3.82 VDIMM is totally unrealisitic, it's certainly dangerous for the memory.
-
They do 2-3-3-5 @ 225 FSB just fine, if I'll have more patience I'll keep messing with low speeds.
-
Who cares how they look like o_O
They don't come in 512 mb sticks from what I saw, only 256 mb.
Anyway, my CPU doesn't really go above 285 FSB, it'll be impressive if it will run 285 synced though.

They didn't send me a zimun even though I have 56 so I mailed them my details myself + bagrut results and then they summoned me. Some people get recommended by their school and can get summoned even before they have tzav rishon, some have 56 and never get summoned, it's not always the same. You can call them (number at their site and ask if they got your details and everything).
You can find info about each stage of the miyunim in their site, www.talpiyot.org , btw the first stage is supposedly hard since only about a 5th of the people move on the next stage. The stages that follow it narrow it down to like 50 people eventually, so getting in is hard, to say the least, not to mention that being good @ the tests isn't enough, there's also a psychological evalutation, go figure what they're looking for..
Good luck.
