אני לא יודע מה אתה מדבר על הדריברים אבל לדעתי הקאטאליסט עדיפים לשימושים שלי (גיימינג בעיקר).

כשניסיתי לכפות AA דרך הדריבר של NV לMW2 (כרטיס GTX460 על דריבר 258.96) זה פשוט לא עבד

אבל בקאטאליסט עם הHD4830 הישן שלי זה כן עבד.

258.96 על הפנים, ברגע שהתקנתי אותו המסך שלי לא רצה לחזור ל- 1280X1024, וכשניסיתי יותר הוא נתקע על 4:3 - היו שוליים שחורים בקצוות של המסך - ולא חזר לעצמו... רק ב- FHD ראיתי את כל המסך... הזוי ביותר, מיד החלפתי לקודם.

Report: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 TDP is 244W, includes 128 TMU, Benchmarks Leaked

Following up on previously leaked specifications, Chinese website eNet has filled in some missing information - notably TDP and TMU count. The TDP of GeForce GTX 580 is at 244W, slightly lower than the GeForce GTX 480. The texture fillrate had been viewed by many as one of the bottlenecks for GF100, and eNet reports that GF110 effectively doubles the TMU count to 128 TMUs. Apart from this substantial improvement in TMU, the GF110 is a "full revision" and fixed version of GF100.

The net result is a performance improvement of between 15%-20% over the GTX 480, while using less power. It must be noted that the GTX 480's 250W TDP figure was controversial as they reflected typical load power for gaming applications, whereas stress benchmarks like Furmark used close to 300W, and this is the reference AMD uses for TDP ratings. It is unclear whether the 244W figure refers to Gaming load or absolute TDP in stress applications.

In addition to eNet's report, purported benchmarks for the GTX 580 has leaked on the Chinese enthusiast community.

The benchmarks show an average improvement of ~17% for the GTX 580 over the GTX 480. The maximum increase is in 3D Mark Vantage - ~35%, while the minimum increase is in Resident Evil 5 ~5%. Against the Radeon HD 5870, the GTX 580 wins comfortably by an average of ~45%. The gaps are massive (~2x) in tessellation oriented benchmarks, building on GTX 480's strengths, while the DX10 benchmarks narrow the gap considerably. Unfortunately, according to these benchmarks, the GTX 580 will end up slower than AMD's previous-gen Radeon HD 5970, on average, let alone AMD's upcoming flagship - Antilles / Radeon HD 6990. GTX 580 against Cayman / Radeon HD 6950/70 is the real battle here. Naturally, we would advise you to take any such leaks with a grain of salt.

The GTX 580 is set to release in one week's time, on November 8th/9th (depending on where you live), but the jury is still out on the extent of availability on release. While strong rumours suggest virtually no availability on launch, eNet insists that AIC partners will have GTX 580s on sale on November 9th. However, the quantity of cards for sale on November 9th is not mentioned.

Geforce GTX580 launch on 9th Nov, sampling now

772MHz 512 Shader part

We got a few confirmations of recently leaked specs and facts about Geforce GTX 580 posted here.

The new card is sampling to journalists right now. It should launch on Tuesday 9th but it's unclear at what time. It looks like it will be the morning hours of Tuesday, November 9th.

A few important facts are that the card works at 772MHz core, has 512 shaders and 2200MHz memory. It should also be somewhat quieter than the previous GTX 480.

Our sources are also claiming that the mini shader cores got slightly improved and that the card works and performance just as it was intended for original Fermi GF100, Geforce GTX 480 card.

You can look at this card as Fermi done right and we can also confirm that the card is scheduled to launch before AMD's Cayman-based Radeon HD 6950 and HD 6970 parts.

The fun in the graphics world is just about to start, as there are still a few more interesting cards to launch until the end of 2010.

Geforce GTX 580 has a better cooler

Nvidia's new Geforce GTX 580 is going to be cooler and a bit quieter than the Geforce GTX 480, a.k.a. original Fermi. From what we have managed to find out, the new card has similar TDP to Geforce GTX 480, but its cooler is redesigned and works more efficiently than the previous one.

Don’t get carried away, as the card will be hot, with a TDP of slightly under 250W. It has to be hot, but at least it will be heavy and fancy looking.

Naturally someone will develop a water block for this card as it simply makes sense to water cool it, as you can gain some more performance when overclocking this already hot card. Of course, the water cooler will come at a hefty price, as it always costs significantly more due to the small numbers of coolers that people buy for €500 cards.

Many people don’t go along with Geforce GTX 580 name as the card should end up with Geforce GTX 490 or similar, but as you know Nvidia ups the numbers every year, sometimes even by simply renaming products. Geforce 200 became Geforce 300 without any significant change, but the Geforce 400 series have deserved its name.

Geforce 500 cards are a tweak, a real kicker so you will be able to tell the difference, especially with GTX 560 parts that should bring a lot of performance in sub $ (€)200 market.

As for the rumous that this is a paper launch, we can definitely tell you that people have cards as we speak, the big names are testing them now and they should get available on the November 9th, after the official launch.
