אכן עניין פעוט, אם עניין בכלל. הרי ביצועי DP כלל לא רלוונטים למשחקים. בכרטיסי גיימינג עסקינן, וזה לא משנה איך מתחשק לנו לקרוא להם.

אם היא "מכוונת בעיקר לא לשוק הגיימרים" ועדיין מעמידה פייט למתחרה שמכוונת "בעיקר כן לשוק הגיימרים"- סחתיין עליה ::)

Nvidia's dual 5x0 card comes in 2010

We got a fresh update on what happens after GTX 580 eventually launches. There should be a faster card, coming most likely in December 2010.

The new card is based on two GF100-derived cores, probably similar to the GF104, so we can only imagine the TDP of that card. Our educated guess for this time is at least 400W card, something that will get very hot indeed. It would appear that we are almost at the verge of a new era, where water cooling will be a must.

AMD also plans Antilles, Radeon HD 6970 dual Cayman card, and this one also looks to be quite a hot one. A GF100GX2 was on the roadmap for quite some time, but Nvidia never decided to release the card. We guess that chose to drop it because of its enormous TDP, courtesy of two GF100 chips.

So the launch is this year, which usually means December, but we know that super high end enthusiasts will wait to see who wins this round Radeon HD 6970 or Geforce GTX 5x0 GX2, before they make the buying decision.

Geforce GTX 580 is 15 percent faster than 480

Sometimes up to 20

We got some rough Geforce GTX 580 performance figures and they indicate that the new card could be as much as 15 to 20 percent faster than the old GF100-based Geforce GTX 480.

This is something that we'd expected from the tweaked and fixed GF100 chip. The core architecture is slightly changed in order to make this GPU more efficient and to lower the TDPs, at least slightly.

The general idea was to stay at a similar TDP and get much more performance, per watt of course. Since this is one of the biggest chips ever built, or should we say re-spun from the GF100, you have to know by now that it will get hot and fast, but so do any of the products in this market range.

Also bear in mind that both companies still have dual-chip cards in the pipeline and they should end up even faster. If we only had such cool content to really need so much processing power.

ברשת אומרים שכדי שה580 יתחרה בחום ובביצועים נוידיה הייתה צריכה להתפשר בתכנון הכרטיס 580, כב480 היו מוקדשים כמה מאות מיליוני טרנזיסטורים לחישובים של תחנות עבודה ושרתים ב580 הם ויתרו על חלקם לטובת שיפור ה580 כגיימר, אני יחפש את הכתבה ואביא לפה בהזדמנות[br]פורסם בתאריך: 3.11.2010 בשעה 22:53:06

Nvidia simply "tweaked and fixed" the GTX480 by removing some 300.000.000 transistors used for double precision.

Since I do lots of GPGPU that's pretty bad news for me.

אירו אחד לכול מעבד ממש ביצועים/מחיר, מושלם :lol:

שוב אתם חייבים לשכוח שזה רק מחיר התחלתי והכרטיסים של תמיד יקרים מהאחרים ,וגם אחרי שיצא ה970 המחיר ירד ,רק אחרי שראינו כמה זה עולה מעניין כמה הדו ליבתי יעלה ...

גם ה6970 לא יתקרב בשום צורה להגדרה של קריר ,מצד שני באירופה הכרטיסים ימכרו כמו לחמניות ,הכרטיסים האלו הם סוג של 2in 1 אתה מקבל בונוס של תנור חימום בנוסף לכרטיס מסך חזק . ככה או ככה לATI אין סיכוי נגד בסיבוב הזה ... לNVIDIA תמיד היה הפגנת שרירים טובה יותר מאשר לATI
