IBM DEAGNOSTIC LEDS צפייה מרחוק באמצעות סקריפט

שלום,

כמו שכולכם מכירים לשרתי IBM יש נורות דיאגנוסטיקה לתקלות חומרה עליהם. לאחרונה בגלל ריבוי שרתים אצלי במערכת, אני מפספס פעמים רבות שרתים בעלי נורה דלוקה אצלי בDATACENTER.

השאלה שלי האם יש דרך לצפות בתקלות כאלו מרחוק ולא פיזית על ידי הסתכלות בנורה, כאשר המטרה העיקרית היא למעשה כתיבת סקריפט שיכיל את השרתים ולמעשה יבדוק אוטומטית אותם.

אם קיימת דרך לצפות בהם באמצעות פקודת CMD אז אעדיף לשמוע עליה.

באילו שרתים מדובר?

סדרת INTEL שהיא X SERVER ויכולה להכיל מערכות הפעלה INTEL

סדרת Z שהיא מבוססת LINUX - למערכות הפעלה z/OS, z/VSE, z/TPF, Linux

סדרת UNIX AIX שהן מכונות העל שנקראות POWER ? עבורן יש משהו הנקרא HMC=HARDWARE MANAGEMENT CONSOLE

זה עובד עם אג'נטים על כל שרת

אנחנו לא עובדים SCOM, ולא הבנתי בדיוק מה זה IBM SYSTEM DIRECTOR:

כלומר זה כלי שמגיע עם הדרייברים של IBM או שזה כלי ניהול נוסף, כמובן שאני מדבר על שרתים מבוססי ווינדוס?

כאילו כל מה שאני רוצה לדעת, זה האם יש דרך כלשהי שאפשר לצפות בתקלות חומרה דרך פקודת סיסטם פשוטה EVENT VIEWER, או משהו שאני יכול ליצור סקריפט איתו. אני לצערי מחמיץ המון נורות בבדיקה שלי, כי יש לי ים שרתים על הראש וים נורות אזהרה שונות.

כלומר אני צריך שיהיה לי משהו שיתריע אם הלך לי מודול זכרון, ספק כוח, הארדיסק וכו' בדיוק כמו שיש בנורות האלו. אני מעדיף שזה לא יהיה כלי צד שלישי...

גם אין לי סביבת DEBUG לבדוק כלים כאלה, אז בכלל אין על מה לדבר...

לקרוא אני יודע זה בסדר, אני עובד עם מוצר אחר שעושה אותו דבר. אבל נשבר לי הזין מהמוצרים הארורים הללו. אני רוצה שכל יום בשעה מסויימת הוא מריץ סריקה על כל השרתים שלי ומוציא לי תקלות חומרה.

לא מעניין אותי כל המסביב וכו'. מעניין אותי שהוא ידע להתריע לי על זה מקומית בדיוק כמו הנורות, אני כבר אמצא את הסקריפט שיבדוק את זה, אבל נכון לעכשיו הוא לא מתריע על התקלות הללו או שהואע מתריע ואני רק לא יודע לבדוק אותם
