Looks like Valve is working on fixing that annoying HL2.exe crash when shutting down specific Source based games like TF2. To access the beta you need to go to File, Settings, and on the Account tab click Change. From the drop down menu choose Steam Client Candidate. 

List of changes:

    * Added more download regions for Australia
    * Fixed several update news links for games going to the wrong page
    * Added more information to the game launch display when first-time install steps are being ran
    * Several Steamworks updates
    * Fixed HL2.exe hanging on shutdown

בחיים לא השתמשתי בסטים ולפי התגובות פה אני דיי מפחד להשתמש כי אם פאקינג מישהו מחליט לפרוץ לי איכשהו ונותנים לי באן ולא מעניין אותם כלום וקניתי משחקים במאות דולרים אז פתאום הכל הלך ? אז מה סתם שלמתי ?

בחיים לא השתמשתי בסטים ולפי התגובות פה אני דיי מפחד להשתמש כי אם פאקינג מישהו מחליט לפרוץ לי איכשהו ונותנים לי באן ולא מעניין אותם כלום וקניתי משחקים במאות דולרים אז פתאום הכל הלך ? אז מה סתם שלמתי ?

למה שמישהו יפרוץ לך? כל עוד לא נתתה את המשתמש שלך והסיסמא שלך לילד בן 12 שמבטיח לך אדמין ב CS או הורדתה KEYLOGER אז אין שום סיבה שיפרצו לך.

במקרה וכן פרצו מכתב אחד לסטים+ צירוף של הקבלה והכרטיס אשראי והחשבון חוזר אלייך.

אני משתמש בסטים כבר שנתיים ולא פרצו לי ולא כלום.

יש לחבר שלי משתמש סטים והוא שכח את האימייל ואת השם משתמש... סיסמא יש לו ויש לו את הCDKEY שהוא קיבל(TF2)...

הוא קנה את המשחק והוסיף לסטים בחופש הגדול יולי-אוגוסט 2008.

מה אפשר לעשות? לצלם את הCDKEY ומה אז? מה לרשום להם?

שילחץ עליו, במסך הבא יבחר שהוא לא זוכר שם משתמש, במסך הבא שהוא לא זוכר אימייל אבל זוכר את הסידיקי, ואז יהיה לו אפשרות להכניס את הסידיקי

ולפעם הבאה שירשום לעצמו את האימייל והשם משתמש

Square Enix Delivers Games to PC Users Via Steam

LOS ANGELES (February 24, 2009) Square Enix, Inc., the publisher of Square Enix® interactive entertainment products in North America (Square Enix), and Valve Corporation (Valve), a developer of leading-edge technologies and software, announced today an agreement to bring Square Enix titles to customers worldwide via Steam®, Valve's leading platform for digital content distribution and management.
Beginning April 9, THE LAST REMNANT will be available for purchase via Steam, which makes PC games available online to more than 15 million users worldwide. An action RPG from the makers of the FINAL FANTASY® series, THE LAST REMANT will be the first Square Enix game to utilize Steamworks and be distributed via Steam. Square Enix will continue to add to its roster of games on Steam, providing users with instant access - after purchase, they can download the game immediately and start playing. Pricing will be announced at a later date.
"We are excited to offer the millions of Steam customers online access to Square Enix titles beginning with our major action RPG, THE LAST REMNANT," said John Yamamoto, president and chief executive officer of Square Enix Inc. and Square Enix Ltd. נקווה שהם יתחילו לתת יותר משחקים גם לPC אני לא מצפה למשהו בלעדי למחשב אבל כן מקווה מאוד לפורטים מה360
