Hi During Lubuntu installation, i was off-line (no internet connection( and so now in the language support - under "install/remove languages" i don't see hebrew How can I add Hebrew to my option list (now the only option is English( also - is there a way to take screen shots in Lubuntu? TODA

Finally, I got Ubuntu 8.10 installed & it's looking awesome .so far I have encountered only one problem, for some reason i can't write in Hebrew! I don't understand why, since i installed the Hebrew language pack using Synaptic+ added the Hebrew Layout for the keyboard... Hi, Sorry for the English, but I haven't got Hebrew set up on my Ubuntu OS, even though I can tell the support is quite excellent, so far. I'd like to ask a few questions: 1. How can I add Hebrew? (Without changing the system's language entirely, just add it) 2. Assuming it's been added. How do I switch between languages, like ALT+SHIFT in Windows? 3. How do I change the display font of my Firefox ? I mean, it displays Hebrew very well, but the font looks like Biblical, and I'm talking about something like Arial or Times New Roman. I have one HDD installed, spitted to two NTFS partitions, 20GB for Windows on the first partition and around 90GB for Stuff on the second partition, and only 1.5GB for linux installation/partition. is there any way to add an extra 20GB from the 90GB NTFS partition to the 1.5GB EXT2 ubuntu installtion partition? thanks .

I am working in a network with a proxy server , I configured netscape to use the proxy when i need access to the internet and that's working fine. My question is : How do I configure linux in general to have access to the net (for mail client for example) using the proxy server instead of direct connect ? Let's say that I can't even use the automatic update feature becasue LINUX is unable to detect the internet . (I am using R.H 73) Thanks. Jerry

Hi, I have installed fadora core 3. Now when I enter this OS I can't write in hebrew but I can see hebrew. I tried to fix it by downloading hebrew fonts but I have needed a program that open EXE Cabint. When I tried to Install that Program it didn't worked and I found out I don't have any Development Tools Installed. tried to Install them by the Add\Remove for the System settings but it printed an error that I've uploaded with this message as well. יש לי אי מאק בן חצי שנה עם צורב די וי די שעובד נפלא, נדמה לי שהגירסה של אי די וי די היא 2 ולא 3 החדישה יותר, אין לי אפשרות לדעת את הגירסה כי הפקודה ABOUT משום מה לא עובדת ויוצא מסך חלק הבעיה שאיני מצליח לצרוב דיסק עם מספר סצינות נפרדות כדי שבהקרנה אוכל לשוטט בין סצינה לסצינה ללא צורך לראות את כל הסרט או להריצו במהירות כדי להגיע למשל לסצינה השלישית מיד. מה עושים? האם כך עובדת גירסה 2 והפתרון הוא גירסה 3? דני
