לינוקס, Mac ומערכות הפעלה אחרות

התאהבתי ב- iMac החדש. הייתה לי הזדמנות להתנסות בשימוש בו ובעבודה על OS X, והחלטתי שהמחשב המשרדי הבא שאני קונה יהיה המחשב הזה. בהנחה שאני מחובר ל-ADSL, דרך מחשב שמריץ WIN XP, האם יהיו לי בעיות לחלוק שימוש במדפסות ובגישה לאינטרנט? אם כן, האם Router יפתור את הבעיה? מה עם file sharing, האם אני אוכל לגשת למסמכי doc על אחת ממערכות הwin xp, מהאפל? זה לא קריטי אם לא. תודה גל

כבר זמן רב יש לי מחשב Imac DV 400 SE ואני שואל מה אני יכול לעשות איתו? האם אני יכול להפוך אותו לטלויזיה? האם אפשר לחבר אותו לאינטרנט דרך הכבלים (דרך כרטיס רשת כמו במחשב PC)? כונן DVD עובד רק עם סרטים באנגלית zone1 האם אפשר להפוך אותו ל- zone2? בכלל האם יש פורןמים אן אתרים יעודיים ברשת למחשב כמו שלי?

היי חברים ה- mac os x לא עולה לי, נתקע על תמוך ומסך טעינה. הדיסק שברשותי שרוט ולכן הוא לא קורא אותו ניסיתי להוריד מספר גרסאות ולצרוב אותם בווינדוס אבל קיבלתי שגיאה יש אפשרות לבצע את ההתקנה דרך USB או כל פתרון אחר ? אני חסר אונים לתקלה הזאת כמה כמה ימים.

יש לי אי מאק בן חצי שנה עם צורב די וי די שעובד נפלא, נדמה לי שהגירסה של אי די וי די היא 2 ולא 3 החדישה יותר, אין לי אפשרות לדעת את הגירסה כי הפקודה ABOUT משום מה לא עובדת ויוצא מסך חלק הבעיה שאיני מצליח לצרוב דיסק עם מספר סצינות נפרדות כדי שבהקרנה אוכל לשוטט בין סצינה לסצינה ללא צורך לראות את כל הסרט או להריצו במהירות כדי להגיע למשל לסצינה השלישית מיד. מה עושים? האם כך עובדת גירסה 2 והפתרון הוא גירסה 3? דני

אני מחפש שנים אייסיקיו למק החדש והיפה שלי, ואני לא מוצא... אבל אני רוצה אייסיקיו(או כל תוכנה "שמדברת עם אייסיקיו") שאפשר לעשות איתה away וכלה השטויות האלה... וכל הממליץ על תוכנה אחרת(לא חייבים קשורה...) שמומלצת למק שיגיד! אני פתוח להצעות..

הורדתי אי סי קיו למערכת ההפעלה החדשה של אפל. לצערי האי סי קיו לא תומך בשפה העיברית, ורציתי לשאול האם יש תוכנה או תוסף שיאפשר לי לדבר ולקרוא עיברית. גם הודעה זו נכתבה בעזרת היגואר!

שלום רב. אני החלטתי שאני רוצה ללכת על מחשב נייד מתוצרת APPLE. עכשיו מה שלא הבנתי עד עכשיו זה מה ההבדל הכל כך גדול בין הPOWERBOOK לIBOOK שהPOWER יותר יקר ממנו ב600 דולר (לגירסת ה12 אינץ). אלה ההבדלים שראיתי IBOOK: מעבד 1.2GHZ, כרטיס מסך RADEON 9200, הארד דיסק 40 גיגה POWERBOOK: מעבד 1.33GHZ, כרטיס מסך FX5200, הארד דיסק 60 גיגה המחשב הוא יהיה לצורך לימודים,סרטים,טיפה עריכת ווידאו בצורה מאוד בסיסית, וסרטים. אפשר לדעת מה ההבדל הגדול בין הPOWER BOOK לIBOOK? תודה מראש וחג שמח

Hi, I have installed fadora core 3. Now when I enter this OS I can't write in hebrew but I can see hebrew. I tried to fix it by downloading hebrew fonts but I have needed a program that open EXE Cabint. When I tried to Install that Program it didn't worked and I found out I don't have any Development Tools Installed. tried to Install them by the Add\Remove for the System settings but it printed an error that I've uploaded with this message as well. I am working in a network with a proxy server , I configured netscape to use the proxy when i need access to the internet and that's working fine. My question is : How do I configure linux in general to have access to the net (for mail client for example) using the proxy server instead of direct connect ? Let's say that I can't even use the automatic update feature becasue LINUX is unable to detect the internet . (I am using R.H 73) Thanks. Jerry

I have one HDD installed, spitted to two NTFS partitions, 20GB for Windows on the first partition and around 90GB for Stuff on the second partition, and only 1.5GB for linux installation/partition. is there any way to add an extra 20GB from the 90GB NTFS partition to the 1.5GB EXT2 ubuntu installtion partition? thanks .

Hi, Sorry for the English, but I haven't got Hebrew set up on my Ubuntu OS, even though I can tell the support is quite excellent, so far. I'd like to ask a few questions: 1. How can I add Hebrew? (Without changing the system's language entirely, just add it) 2. Assuming it's been added. How do I switch between languages, like ALT+SHIFT in Windows? 3. How do I change the display font of my Firefox ? I mean, it displays Hebrew very well, but the font looks like Biblical, and I'm talking about something like Arial or Times New Roman.
