עוד דבר תמוהה, אם זה לא כרטיס שמיועד למשחקים, הוא הדמיון בשמות: NV יצאו עם הקטע של Founders Edition ועכשיו AMD עונים להם עם Frontier Edition. 
האם הם באמת כל כך מנותקים שהם לא הבינו שההשוואה לכרטיס מסך של NV היא מחוייבת המציאות אחרי שהם משחקים את המשחק ש NV התחילה עם הטוויסט השמי לגרסאות הרפרנס שלה?

ככה AMD תכננו את ההשקה של VEGA, עם רושם ראשוני מבולבל, מגומגם ומלא בתירוצים ו(שוב) הבטחות שבעוד כמה חודשים הכל ישתפר?
