למדו לקח? AMD חיים מהדברים האלה, באמת נראה לך שבמקרה זה היה אפשרי לפתוח כפולי ליבה למרובעי ליבה, לפתוח 6950?

זה דרך ממש מצויינת להגדיל את האחיזה שלך בשוק, הרבה מאוד אנשים קנו את הכפולי ליבה שלהם במטרה לפתוח אותם למרובע ליבות, הרבה קנו 6950 במטרה לפתוח אותו והרבה יקנו את ה 290. גם ככה ההפרש ביצועים בין 290 ל 290X היה מאוד קטן.

יש פה סוג של "סדרתיות" , בין סדרת 5XXX ל 6XXX לא השתנה תהליך הייצור (40NM) , בין 7XXX ל RX גם לא השתנה התהליך.. את 6950 יכלו ל"פתוח" וגם את 290 שניהם אגב הכרטיס השני מלמעלה..

זו מקריות, לא סדרתיות.

Just talked to AMD as well as three big AIB partners and AMD as well as one big AIB told me that we should expect to see custom R9 290 and 290X cards in etail the second week of December. FYI....

Never talked with Asus about DCII ( Even though they were there). Talked to Sapphire , Powercolor and MSI.
