אין לי מושג בזכרון, אני יודע שאני צריך יותר.

איפה כדאי לקנות? (RDRAM)

יש הבדלים בין החברות?

שמעתי גם שרצוי לא לערבב חברות, איך אני יכול לדעת מה יש לי עכשיו?

ומה בדיוק גורם לך לחשוב שאתה צריך 512MB ?

ואם אתה אכן צריך זיכרון RDRAM לפנטיום ארבע (בלבד !!!) ועוד בכמות כזאת, כדאי שתכין הרבה מאד כסף.. כל מודול זיכרון כזה בנפח 256 מ"ב עולה קרוב ל-700 ש"ח. חישוב מהיר : 700 כפול 2 זה 1400 ש"ח.. כואב מאד.. :'(

תרשום לנו קודם איזה מחשב יש לך או המחשב שהולך לקבל את הזיכרונות האלו

now i got 64x2. (i knwo now it was a mistake)

RDRAM only works even numbers (2 or 4)

so i can buy either 128x2

or 256x2

i need 512 (640 total), 'couse 384 is not enoght (most games need 300 to start with, w/o the winblows)

i just need advice on where do buy, and if there is a better company, or are they all the same. (and also, which memory i got installed now, as i was told it's bad to mix companies (is that true?))

i don't need ECC, 'couse i hardly get errors anyway, and i know it's expensive.

PS, i also do heavy gfx+programming work, 128 not enoght for that, but 384 is, however 384 is not enoght for games)

don't u have jumps on sound loading?

loading time per level is not 2min?

(assuming you are playing with EAX+everything on max) ('cept FSAA, but that doesn't change anything in load times))

i know it does... the memroy changes everything ('couse 'cept for the memory, i got everythign at the best, and load times are still high (7200 HD), and there is alot of HD caching done, which slow down games).

if i buy, i wanna buy alot.

למה שלא תנסה לגשת לחנות ממנה קנית את המחשב, להזדכות (אפילו במחיר נמוך ממה ששילמת) על שני המודולים של הזיכרון שיש לך ואז תוכל לקנות 4 מודולים של 128 מ"ב או שניים של 256 מ"ב בתוספת תשלום כמובן.

ובאמת זה לא לעניין שאתם שואלים אותו למה פנטיום 4

זה לגיטימי מאד לקנות מוצרים של אינטל שבזכותה יש לאנשים פרנסה בישראל בתחום הייצור והמחקר ופיתוח, לא כל אחד בודק כמה מיליוניות שניה הוא מרויח באיזשהו משחק עלוב בגלל שיש לו ATHLON ולא מעבד של אינטל. אל תשכחו גם שיש אנשים שקנו מחשב לפני שידעו שיוצא ה-ATHLON XP (ואני אחד מהם) ומה אפשר לעשות עכשיו ? למכור בחצי מחיר (ואולי פחות) מחשב חדש לגמרי ?

גם אני יודע לקרוא באנגלית כל מיני בנצ'מרקים יפים אצל המטורפים ב-TOM's HARDWARE ששורפים מעבדים בשביל הכיף ושאר אתרי החומרה בחו"ל. לא תמיד אנשים בבית מגיעים לאותם תנאי מעבדה שיש לאנשים האלה ואין שני רכיבי אלקטרוניקה (ובטח לא כרטיסים עם כמות גדולה של רכיבים ) שעובדים בדיוק אותו הדבר.

יש שלי פנטיום 4 (חטאתי) - וגם עם 128 מגה כל המשחקים רצו חלק וטוב מאוד- (gf 2 pro),

עכשיו יש לי 256 מגה וגם הכל בווינדוס רץ חלק, מעל 256 אתה לא צריך בכלל.

המשחקים עולים בשניות ולא 2 דקות, איפה אתה חי?

במקום לקנות 512 מגה זיכרון ב 1300 שקל בערך, אתה יכול לקנות

ב 1700 בערך AMD XP1600+Mushkin 2100+ 7VTX-H

אז שווה לך לחסוך את הכסף ולא להשקיע עוד ב P4.

i have no reason to buy a Athlon XP, they sux after i've seen the P4 2.2Ghz (yes, it cost probebly 1000$, but DAMN!)

didn't really think about it (bringing the 1 i got back and get 4x128) maybe it will be cheaper.

All I can say about the Pentium 4 you've mentioned is: My Eye My Foot. Intel Cpu's, espcially the Pentium 4, won't do any better then the Athlon XP, because the only thing Intel has to offer is CLOCK SPEAD, nothing else...

אני לא מבין למה יש לך הערות על שגיאות הכתיב שלו באנגלית בזמן שחלק מהמשתמשים בפורום הזה כותבים עברית ברמה של ילד בגן (כזה שעוד לא יודע לכתוב בכלל), גם מבחינת הניסוח וגם מבחינת שגיאות כתיב.

כל הויכוחים האלה על ענייני מעבד המחשב הם חסרי טעם כשמדובר על מחשבים שאנשים כבר קנו במיטב כספם (או הכסף של ההורים שלהם).
