המשחק נתקע לי בתדירות גבוהה, המסך פשוט מתכבה וריסט למחשב היא האופציה היחידה.

הסרתי את הדריברים של הכרטיס קול והתקנתי חדשים מאתר החברה וזה לא עזר.

כמו כן, התקנתי את קטליסט 5.5 במקום 4.1 שהיה לי, אך גם זה לא עזר.

הפתרונות שניסיתי עד כה הם: הסרת הדריברים של כרטיס הקול והתקנת חדשים מאתר החבר (רילטק).

כמו כן, גם ניסיתי להתקין גירסא חדשה יותר של הקטליסט (5.5) אך זה לא עזר.

1) Go to start menu, execute, write "dxdiag" and set the sound acceleration to "Standard"

2) Right-Click on the GTA:SA exe (or your alias on the desktop) and make it run in Win98 compatibility mode (it improved framerates for me and some say it prevents from crashes too)

4) Start GTA:SA and set the effects to low (It will not make it look worse, it seems that it only affects the shadows)

5) Use 1600x1200 resolution with 1x AA - it will look fine, playing in such a high resolution means that there you will hardly see jagged lines - the 1x AA is enough to make the edges perfectly smooth in my opinion)

6) Set the distance view to be half of the available distance (you can always try to set it higher anyways if it works fine for you)

7) Disable the Frame Limiter
