i have an AMD AthlonXP2500+ machine which i would like to overclock

i have bought with my comp all the cooling that i need (thermalright heatsink with an 80mm vantec fan, and a thermaltake case)

now when trying to run the system at fps200, the system doest startup, as if it doesnt reconize the momories (so i guess its a timing problem)

so please tell me what i should do or what timings should i use

and another thing - i just got a new geforce fx5900xt from chaintech, it has a big fan and two big memory heatsink, and my case (xaser wingo) has a fan directly above it, so i thought i can overclock it too but i dont know how to do that, so any tips will be welcome.

on its properties i can see its tempratures, and they are:

Core: 43c

OverAll: 36c

i dont know what do they stand for, but i bet one of u guys does

this is in idle status btw..

my total specs are:

AMD AthlonXP2500+ (Duron)

EPoX 8RDA3+

PMI Golden 512mb 2-3-2-6 DDR400

Chaintech GeForce FX5900XT

WD 80gb 7200RPM S-ATA

first of alll even though i didnt read it all its not duron.only xp ,

and u got 2 add more voltage in order 2 overclock 2 3200 ,about 1.725-1.75 wiil be enugh.btw not all barton in this range are made fo this kind of overclock make sure u r not killing it

שמע, קודם כל תעלה קצת מתח, לא הרבה. תעלה לו קצת מתח, תנסה לעלות את ה FSB לאט לאט

לא ישר ל 200, ניראה לי שהמעבד שלך עובד על 133MHZ, אז תעלה קצת את המתח ותעלה ל 165MHZ, ואחרי זה תעלה לאט לאט ותראה מתי הוא כבר לא יציב... לדעתי אם תעלה קצת מתח, ותוריד או תשאיר את המכפלה על 11 תוכל להגיע ל 200MHZ.
