most bizarre bug ever: ASUS P5K-E, no post, no display, no keyboard,

power OK.

this usually implies faulty memory, but non of my 4 sticks worked in

either slot.

also changed video card/slot and reseted CMOS.

SOLUTION: temporarily change memory to a LOWER RATED BRAND!

i was ashamed to tell the guy at the store about this mad voodoo theory,

but it worked!

    יצא לי להתקל בבעיה דומה\זהה יותר מפעם אחת, בדרך כלל אני מחליף את הזכרונות בסט אחר, מכוון בביוס ידנית את נתוני הזכרונות

    הקודמים ומחליף בחזרה. לא בהכרח צריך זכרונות איטיים יותר, תלוי בסיטואציה.
