אני מעדיף כונן של 60 ג'יגה, ויש לי סיבות משלי, אבל הכוננים האלה הרבה (לא כ"כ הרבה) יותר יקרים... אז אני חושב שאני ילך על 40 בעצם גם יש לי את הכונן הישן שאני ישאיר פה (של 12 ג'יגה) אז 40 יספיק.

עכשיו לשאלת החברות... סיגייט או מקסטור? חברה אחרת? מה נראה לכם?

אל תוותר על ה-60.. לא ממש משנה של איזו חברה..

אוקיי, אז אני כן יילך על 60. ואגב, בחנות השנואה עליך, ה6- ג'יגה של מקסטור עולה 835 וה60 ג'יגה של סיגייט עולה 804.

זה הפרש ענק אתה יודע (בעיקר במקסטור...)

ז'תמורת שההפרש בין החנויות בסיגייט הוא שקל אחד... ובמקסטור הוא כמעט 300... לא נראה לי הגיוני, אני יבדוק אם זה אותו דגם בדיוק.

the 60GB cost much more 'couse it's bigger, but phisically, takes the same place (1 3.5" spot, and 1 IDE connector)

a 20GB diffrence (40 to 60) sometimes changes alot when working, so they can ask much more for them (standarts, the normal home user will get a 30GB, if the 40 is cheap, maybe he'll jump on it and get a 40, when for the company, the diffrence is a few cents so they make more money, however, for the 60 they ask more, 'couse it's for people who can usally afford more)

as for maxtor or not, it's a question of preformence, the seagate will probebly give u 6-8MB/sec.

while the maxtor will get 10MB/sec easy

u shouldn't buy the maxtor for more then around 850nis

and the seagate for around 800...

diffrence is not too big, if getting a 60, get the maxtor.

however, if u just need it for storage, the seagte should work just as good. today they all (HDs) live long and don't break, make sure your getting a warrenty anyway.
