    in ac3filter, make sure that 3/2+SW is selected, if you not using ac3filter, there is an internal

    filter, but you need to choose the 6 speaker system (5 + 1) :

    open prefs (CTRL+P) go to Audio -> InterVideo AC3

    but, for more 5.1 support, i recommend AC3Filter
