לאחר סקר מחירים באתר זאפ ובאתרי ביקורות שונים, נותרו מספר דגמים:

Hitachi 160GB 7200 8MB

Western Digital 160GB 7200 8MB

Maxtor 160GB 7200 8MB

אין לי שום מידע לגבי המאקסטור אך הופתעתי לראות שה- Hitachi מקבלים ביקורות מעולות:

שמתי לב שמעט חנויות מחזיקות אותם ורוב החנויות מחזיקות WD (למרות שהביקורות לא מהללות).

עוד דבר: שמתי לב באחת החנויות של ה- Hitachi, שמצויין בפרטי המוצר: Bulk - למיטב זכרוני זה אומר שהמכשיר עבר בדיקות איכות ולא זכה לקבל: Retail.
