listen I know Im not in the right furom, but this is a part of the wierd problem i got

since yesterday every hebrew based site i enter, the hebrew letters become to quistion marks!!!!

It happen like this

I enter for exemple to this site, whan the page is still not fully download, i can see every thing in hebrew

but onced it is on, suddenly the whole letters in hebrew changed into quistion marks!

it is like some prog do it intentionly!

for exemple i cant tell in which furom i am bcz all the lettres in hebrew do not existes!!

but if ill do refresh as long as the page not fully loaded i will see hebrew... the prob in this site that it is loaded real fast...

anyway i also cant write hotmail e mails bcz onced i get to the messege body, the marker disappear and i cant write!!!

I used norton anivirus, spybot search and destroy, adaware 6, and to kill proccess i dont know but nothing was found and the situtatin remains the same!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

can someone please tell me what i got? im running out od ideas

try to remove anything u recently

installed and u can also try to do

a system restore to the settings

I guess you are using explorer? Go to View -->Encoding and try to choose a different hebrew encoding.

You can also try installing new hebrew fonts.

Try to install Mozilla and see if it happendes with Moziila too.

well guys i didnt told you one thing... that all begun to happend exectly after the norton told me i got a virus in my computer which he could not fix

than i  run the computer on a safe mode and made a test and found nothing

i basicly dont thing it is a virus though, bcz i dont know a virus that effecting only the <a target="_blank" href="http://searchmiracle.com/text/search.php?qq=Internet">internet</a> connection, i thought it is more a spyware thing...

anyway you want to tell me that no one expiriencd it before???

when i choose hebrew windows encodind, i see for a second hebrew but whan the page finished it is returend to quistion marks again!!

the same happens if i choose hebrew logical, or hebrew visual. it has nothing to do with fonts i can see hebrew but as soon as the page finish downloaded it is reprossed and all the hebrew turn into ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????//????Am i more clear now?

and perform the online scan

after the scan, we'll see...

and how about the system restore

i talked about? although if it's a virus

do not do a system restore before

making sure the virus is deleted

and how about the recent installed progs?

got any? try to get rid of any recent ones

My brother had exactly the same problem. I closed process after process until it went away. Then he found out that it was (I think) a Malware and managed to uninstall it.

Do you know the name of the son of a she-virus (hee hee hee)? if you do, try to downloas a fix from a site of an antivirus, look for it in Google

Try to open the task manager (ctrl+alt+del) and see if there are processes that aren't supose to be there

what about adding hebrew support ???

goto "advanced" tab

select "hebrew" under "select a language to match the language version of the non-unicode programs you want to use"

click apply , and ok
