לפני יומיים הצלחתי להתקין סוף סוף את האשף הישראלי. אחרי שהתקנתי אותו והגדרתי את החיבור שלי ואת הכל, אני נכנסתי כ-ROOT והקלדתי IDIAL. הופיע לי חלון, ובו לחצתי על "התחבר". לחצתי על התחבר, אבל הופיעה לי שגיאה:

מישהו אמר לי שאני צריך להתקין את dhcp-client. אז התקנתי אותו וההתקנה עברה בהצלחה. אחרי זה שוב הדקלתי IDIAL ב-KONSOL, הופיע לי חלון ההתחברות ולחצתי על "התחבר", אבל שוב אותה השגיאה הופיעה.

מה עכשיו אני יכול לעשות?

המודם שלי והכרטיס רשת תומכים ב-100% בלינוקס (בדקתי כבר באתר של לינוקס), כך שהם לא הבעיה.

    You need to install ppp and pptp support and also pump if you haven't you can get them all in the uprmi database. Also there's another better script than ideal, I forgot his name but I'll check later, Idial had a problem for a friend of mine that when you reboot while still connected the dialer won't allow you to reconnect after the comp reloads.

    תודה לכם על העזרה. לפני רבע שעה אמרו לי בפורום אחר את מה שאמרתם: להתקין חבילת PPTP וזה מה שעשיתי, ועכשיו אני כותב את ההודעה הזאת מלינוקס.
