זה באמת עוזר ? לי לא עובד טוב ממש כרגע... ואין לי כוח להתקין ולהסיר שוב ושוב, ושמישהו שבאמת ניסה ויודע יענה, וצריך להסיר את הדרייברים הקודמים ? יש לי 4.6..

וזה מגיע עם Control Panel בכלל?

I spent all morning comparing ATI Catalyst 4.7, Omega 2.5.5.8 (based on Cata 4.7) and the 4.9 Beta (it's a driver on it's own, I installed it after removing the prior driver).

As for the results, I ran just for general input 2001/2003 and Aquamark (all on default) and also Doom3 Timedemo1 in 1024x768/1152x864/1280x1024 on High/Med and High with AAx2 and AAx4 (anything above that lags too much).

The system is:

P4 2.4C@3.22 (270FSB)

256x2 PC4000 4:5 @ 432 mhz 2-3-3-5

Radeon 9700NP overclocked at 370/290.

Anyhoo, I won't bother writing all of the results cause that will be VERY long, in the general benchmakrs the ATI and Omega produced the exact same results (17800,5570,42650 accordingly) while the 4.9 gives 18412,5620,43150 which is a nice boost.

However the results in the Doom3 Demo don't change in more than 0.5-1 FPS regardless of the driver used and also regardless of modifying the cachemem value (if you want any specific results just ask).

I didn't test the drivers inside the game while personally playing I'm only relying on the time demo, I personally did feel a slight difference when using a larger cachemem value ingame but I don't know how accurate I am.

Overall, at 1152x864 High with AAx2 I play at 20-60 FPS (the game never ever goes above 60 FPS no matter if I'm at complete idle, checked with the ingame FPShud).
