i got some questions

i installed the core yesterday and i got some probs

anything i try to install i go to the folder i need

i do the ./configure and it runs till i get this error message

checking how to run the C preprocessor... /lib/cpp

configure: error: C preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fails sanity check

any1 knows what i shold do?

and how do i enable writing in hebrew

and waht can i use to watch videos

and i need a burning prog

יש סיבה מיוחדת שאתה מתקין מקוד מקור ולא מ-rpm ? אם תעבוד עם apt תוכל להתקין בקלות.

אפשר להוריד מכאן: http://apt.freshrpms.net/ . אחרי שהתקנת את apt משם, תריץ (כ-root)

apt-get update

apt-get install synaptic

synaptic

עכשיו אתה יכול להתקין תוכנות מתוך synaptic או עם apt-get install program_name (לא צריך לדאוג להוריד חבילות מהאינטרנט)

בכל מקרה, הבעיה היא שאין לך קומפיילר ל-C. תתקין את GCC מהדיסקים של ההפצה.

לגבי כתיבת עברית, תקרא את המדריך על עברית בפינגווין: www.penguin.org.il . עדיף לעבוד עם "הפתרון המתוחכם"

לגבי וידאו, חפש בגוגל fedora avi. כנ"ל לגבי mp3

how do i install the apt

i went to that site you gave me

i went to the link for fedora core 2 and there were 5 files

so i DLed the seacond (source) and i dunno how to install it

i installed the gcc and the instalation still dosnt work

i tried to add hebrew through the kcontrol

i went to peripherials->keyboard

and there is no option to add languages

again

היית צריך להוריד קובץ RPM (ליתר דיוק, binary rpm). תקרא על RPM כאן: http://www.penguin.org.il/guides/faq/16.html#16

APT מפשט לך את אופן העבודה עם RPM (לא צריך להוריד חבילות, לא צריך לדאוג לתלויות וכו').

אני לא יודע איך התקנת את GCC ומה ניסית לעשות, אז אני לא יכול לעזור. אם אתה רוצה עזרה תצטרך לתת עוד פרטים (למשל פקודות שהרצת, הודעות שגיאה שקיבלת).

לגבי העברית, חיפשת במקום הלא נכון 0- הגדרת מקלדות נמצאת ב-Regional -> Keyboard Layout. אני לא יודע אם זה עובד כי לא ניסיתי.
