לפני מספר שבועות פרסמתי כאן לינק לסקירה של נתב ה-AC1200 של חברת D-LINK (דגם DIR-825/AC). במסגרת הסקירה פרסמתי טבלת ביצועים שהתבססה על כרטיס רשת אלחוטי בתקן AC, המתחבר למחשב בממשק USB. לפני מספר ימים רכשתי כרטיס רשת AC של חברת אינטל (דגם 7260 - בממשק PCIe Half Mini). כרטיס זה הותקן במחשב הנייד שלי - ה-X61s - והחליף את ה-6300N שתמך רק בתקן N. בתמונה המצ"ב תוכלו לראות את המהירות המתקבלת באמצעות הכרטיס כאשר הוא מחובר אל ה-DIR-825/AC. מהירות זו - 866.7Mbps - אופיינית לתקן AC עם שתי אנטנות ומייצגת נאמנה את יכולתו של הנתב ושל הכרטיס. בימים הקרובים אני אפרסם טבלת ביצועים משלימה הכוללת את הנתונים שהושגו באמצעות כרטיס הרשת 7260.
