שלום,

אני מנסה להתחבר באמצעות phpmyadmin לשרת mysql.

שרת ה-web ושרת ה-mysql הם שני שרתים נפרדים!

אני כן מצליח להתחבר מהשרת web עצמו (בפקודה mysql -u root -p -h IPADDR) לשרת mysql

אבל דרך הממשק של phpmyadmin אני מקבל כאמור שגיאה 2002.

אני לא יודע אם יש משהו שאני צריך להגדיר ב-php.ini אבל אני אשמח מאוד לעזרה.

שני השרתים הם שרתי לינוקס redhat.

    זה כן קשור לדיון השני שפתחתי-

    עכשיו מתברר לי שכנראה זה נגרם ממנו.

    למרות שזה מוזר לי שאני עדיין מצליח להתחבר לDB למרות שהסרוויס למטה. איך זה הגיוני?

    בכל מקרה אני יעדכן בהמשך אם מתקדם משהו..

    חפש האם יש פרוססים של mysqld למעלה באוויר (אולי זה הסיבה שהשרות לא מצליח לעלות).

    הצלחתי גם לאפשר גישה לשרת mysql.

    הבעיה עכשיו שזה רוצה שאני אשדרג את mysqlל לגרסה 5.5 :kopfpatsch::pissed:
