בלוח אם שלי יש רק חיבורי SATA 2. הSSD מחובר כרגע לSATA 2 שבלוח.

הביצועים כמובן טובים הרבה יותר משל דיסק קשיח, השאלה אם הם יכולים להשתפר.

בלוח יש חריצי PCI-E X1. אם אחבר את כונן הSSD לכרטיס הרחבה של SATA 3 עם צ'יפסט איכותי של marvell למשל, ארגיש שינוי משמעותי בביצועים?

ידוע שמהירות sata 2 היא 300MB/s.

מהירות sata 3 היא 600MB/s.

מהירות מקסימלית של PCI-E X1 היא 500MB/s כך שהSATA 3 של הכרטיס יפעל במהירות כזו.

עדיין יש הבדל בין 300 ל500 השאלה אם זה שווה את ההשקעה, למרות שהיא מזערית יחסית.
