לד גדול (למעשה פלטה שיש בה הרבה לדים שיוצרים ריבוע מואר, אבל קומפקטי יותר ממעבד) - בגדלים כמו 10W

הדבר הזה מחייב קירור חזק ביותר (הוא לא מייצר הרבה חום אבל חייבים שיהיה קר עד כמה שניתן כדיי שלא יישרף) לכן יש לחבר אותו על צלע קירור של מעבד (במקום שמיועד למעבד) כולל חומר תרמי ומאוורר
