התקנתי כדי לשחק קצת עם זה וללמוד, הגדרתי שהסיסמה תהיה Pa$$w0rd ויוזר administrator אבל שאני מעלה ומזין זה אומר שגיאה...

    שם מנהל האדמין במערכות לינוקס הוא root ולא administrator

    תנסה להתחבר ל root אם הסיסמא שבחרת. שולחן העבודה לא מאפשר בדרך כלל התחברות אם root אבל הקונסול כן - תעבוד אליו אם Alt Ctrl F1 ותנסה להתחבר שם אם שם המשתמש root והסיסמה שבחרת

    אם לא עובד, תעלה את המחשב מ CD של לינוקס, תיכנס למחיצה של המערכת המותקנת ותביא את הקבצים /etc/shadow ו /etc/passwd. שמות המשתמשים שבהם אלה משתמשים במחשב (חלק מהם משתמשי מערכת שלא ניתן להיכנס אליהם). ואיפה שיש קוד ארוך זו סיסמה מוצפנת, ככל הנראה הסיסמה שבחרת - תנסה אותה אם המשתמשים המתאימים
