hebrew gone mad

for some strange reason somtimes the hebrew in my search boxes and text boxes goes mad

I'm using Windows 7 64-bit

in internet explorer/google chrome/etc. all of a sudden I get strange characters or mix-up of the hebrew characters

for example aleph shows as vav, shin shows as yud, tzadik shows as zain.

My caps locks is not pressed.

I See this problem only in the text box (this is why i'm writing in english here), and not in the web-page address box.

can someone help me?
