יש לי כונן חיצוני של Cavalry בלינק הבא:

(לפי מה שהבנתי Cavalry זה רק המפעל ש"מלביש" על ההארד דיסק עצמו את המעטפת הכוללת ולמעשה ההארד דיסק עצמו הוא של Hitachi)

חזרתי מנופש ופרקתי את התיק של המחשב נייד והכונן, בטעות חיברתי את הכבל חשמל של המחשב (הכבל עם השנאי זה שמטעין את הלפטופ) לכונן החיצוני, לא יודע איזה זה התאים ונכנס אבל זה התאים - הדלקתי את הכונן ובמקום אור כחול שבדרך כלל נדלק - התחיל להבהב אור בצבע אדום, אחרי נסיונות של הבנה, עליתי על הטעות הטיפשית, כהשחלפתי לכבל המקורי של הכונן והדלקתי אותו עדיין נדלק אור אדום שנראה מהבהב טיפה יותר מהר.

ספק כוח? נשרף פיוז? אני ממש לא מבין בזה וצריך את הכונן באופן יומי שוטף.

צריך לדאוג לגבי המידע שעליו?

שלוף את הדיסק מהמארז שלו, והוצא את החומר.

אם אתה עדיין צריך משהו נייד, אתה יכול לעשות מודינג וליצור מארז לשניים האלה, או פשוט לקנות חדש.

תפרק את הכונן מהקופסה ותחבר אותו בתוך המחשב (ספק ו SATA) לבדיקה

Hello,

I own a Cavalry external hard drive CX Series 2TB USB+eSATA (picture attachment).

Few days ago, I mistakenly plugged my Laptop Cable (the cable that charge the laptop) to the Cavalry external hard drive instead the original one, as i turned it on, instead a regularly blue light in front, a red light start flashing, when i realize the mistake I replaced the cable with the original one and still got the red light(seems the red light flashing faster with original cable).

I'm from Israel, and since the product was professionally sealed in Cavalry factory I don't know if it's safe to try to fix it by myself or give it to some electronic technician, I figured that maybe the Technicians in Cavalry factory familiar with this problem and can give me a guidance.

The DATA on this hard drive extremely important.

Should I need to worry about the Data?

It is a Power Supply problem?

There is a fuse inside?

Dear Adam,

There is no fuse inside your unit. Using the wrong power supply can seriously damage the unit and in some cases can even create a fire-hazard. We do not cover these sorts of repairs nor do we commonly deal with them. You should try to access the disk as normal first. If that fails, you may want to diconnect the drive from USB and power for 30 minutes, then remove the internal hard drive from the Cavalry case. Once removed, you can connect the bare drive to a desktop computer and look for the drive within Disk Management.
