קניתי דיסק קשיח חיצוני של WD ויש לי כמה שאלות.

כשאני מחבר אותו למחשב אני רואה כונן של 930GB, (למה לעזאזל הם אף פעם לא מדייקים?! איפה עוד 70GB?!) ועוד כונן של 442MB שלמעשה לחיצה עליו מפעילה לי תוכנה בשם smartware. החלון שנפתח מציע לי להתקין back up files או set up drive. מה זו התוכנה הזאת ולמה אני צריך אותה?

דבר שני, לא כדאי לפצל את הכונן הענק הזה לכמה כוננים? מטעמי בטיחות? שאם ידפק כונן אז לא הכול ידפק..... אפשר לעשות את זה עם computer management של הווינדוס, לאחר שכבר מלאתי 5% מהכונן? (כלומר- לפצל את הכונן כשיש בתוכו דברים)
