יש לי מחשב ישן עם לוח אם מיושן של DDR 1 וIDE וכו'.

אח שלי רוצה לשדרג את הכונן הקשיח, וחשבתי לקנות פשוט כונן 500 SATA 2 עם מתאם IDE, כי כונן IDE באותו נפח עולה הרבה יותר.

התקשרתי לחברה שמוכרת והם אומרים שאין בעיה של תאימות לאחור, אבל המתאמים עצמם שורפים את הכוננים.

האם יש אמת בדבר?

ראיתי 2 סוגים שונים של מתאמי SATA-IDE, אחד מהם מתחבר דרך הIDE לSATA והשני מתחבר לחריץ PCI במחשב.

בהנחה שאין אמת בדבר, מה יותר כדאי?

והאם באמת כדאי לי לא להתעסק עם זה ופשוט להוציא יותר על SATA?
