מה הקשר? תחזיר 0, לא 1. ואתה גם לא אמור לשנות ל-void (זה לא תקני).

איך להימנע מ-sprintf? תזכור שמחרוזת היא פשוט מערך של תווים. על מנת להוסיף תו בסופה אתה פשוט צריך להחזיק מצביע למקום הראשון ה"ריק" במחרוזת (שהוא ה-'0\') וכל פעם לכתוב בו את התו הבא (וכמובן לדאוג לשים בסוף שוב '0\'). יכול להיות שזה גם יפתור לך את הבעיה.
