אני החלטתי להוריד את הRC, ויעדכן ידנית לFINAL בכל מקרה גם כש8.04 יצא יהיה קשה להוריד אותו כי הסרברים יהיו איטיים, כמו שהיה עם 7.10.

א"כ עוד כמה ימים אני יוריד ISO של הFINAL ויצרוב על CD.

8.04 FINAL יצא כנירא ב16 השעות הקרובות.

ב16 שעות הקרובות זה כבר היום הבא... זה דיי נבואה מטופשת

למה נירא לך שזה לפי שעון ישראל? זה כנירא לפי שעון לונדון, זה לפחות מה שאומרים עכשיו בפורום של אובנטו.

בוא נסכם על כך שאף אחד באמת לא יודע ושזה יצא מתי שזה יצא?

אנחנו סתם מספימים את התראד ומנצלים את המצב שהמנהלים עדיין רדומים

אני לא כל כך מבין את ההתהבות שלך מיציאת גירסה חדשה של הפצה.

עוד גירסה של ubuntu אינה משחק מחשב/ קונסולה חדשנית שכל העולם מחכה וסופר את הדקות.

הרעיון הכללי של הפצות linux הוא התקן פעם אחת ועדכן, וכך נוצר מצב שאין "בום" גדול כאשר יוצאת גירסה חדשה.

גם העובדה שמחזור השחרור של ubuntu הוא שישה חודשים שוב לא מאפשרת "בום" גדול.

אל תבין אותי לא נכון, מקריאה חטופה של ה release notes ישנם שינויים מבורכים. אבל לא משהו שיגרום לי ליפול מהכיסא.

ניסיתי להוריד, אבל נראה שהשרתים מאוד עמוסים..

מאותו השרת שהורדתי את הבטא לפני איזה חודש ב-20 דקות, עכשיו הוא רושם לי יותר מ-8 שעות!
