אחרי שנים שאנחנו אומרים שהדיסק הקשיח זה מה שמגביל את הביצועים, חברת Fusion IO שוברת את כל הכללים.

כרטיס ששובר את כל שיאי המהירות של אחסון מידע ואפשר להחזיק אותו בכף היד.

הכרטיס שעובד על חיבור PCIE x4 מכיל שבבי פלאש ב160 ערוצים מגבילים ומאפשר ביצועים של 100000 פעולות IO בשנייה, כמו כן יש לו רוחב פס אפקטיבי של 920MB לשנייה.
