כדי למנוע את הצורך לכבות את מסך המחשב ידנית (מה גם שאומרים שזה לא בריא בשבילו) אני מגדיר בלשונית של השומר מסך שהמסך יכבה לאחר זמן מסוים (למשל 5 דקות). בפעמים הראשונות המסך נכבה כראוי לאחר 5 דקות, ולאחריהן המסך לא נכבה יותר אוטומטית.
