    that is only the theoratical speed, in real world, both work at the same speed, wich is usualy 50-70MB\s unless u have RAID or something, so its just names when gets to speed its pointless!!!!

    depends on what RAID type u set.

    i have RAID0 in Intel ICH7R, i have 112MB\s bandwith while on single SATAII hard rive i had 60MB\s its more contorller & HD specific than SATA or SATAII

    anyways today almost all motherboard have SATAII and almost all hardrive support both SATAii & (but not all of them)

    בSATA 2 תומך בHOT SWAP שזה אומר שאפשר לנתק את ההרדיסק מהמחשב כמו דיסק און קי. שימושי? לא בטוח.

    זה דווקא מאוד שימושי למי שמתעסק עם העברות קבצים גדולות למרות שכיום בעידן ה USB2 ושאר האלטרנטיבות זה כבר לא האפשרות היחידה
