שמעתי על תוכנת הגיבוי הנ"ל ואני שואל:

נגיד שפירמטתי והתקנתי את ה WIN על קשיח של נגיד 4 ג'יגה התקנה חלקה ללא תוכנות , דרייברים וכו'

האם אני יכול להשתמש בתוכנה הנ"ל כדי ליצור BOOTABLE CD שישמש אותי במקום לפרמט מהדיסק של הווינדוס להעלות ישר את ה WIN על כל דיסק קשיח שארצה (אפילו חדש ריק) ??

אם כן האם כשאעלה את ה WIN נגיד לקשיח של 80 ג'יג'ה הוא יצור פרטישן של 4 ג'יגה כמו הדיסק שעליו התקנתי במקור את ה WIN ?

True image is for creating backups, ull have to restore the backedup file to the harddrive and it will run only if the hardware is similar

it DOES NOT make a bootable win Xp cd

אני זוכר שפעם אצל חבר לא יכולנו לפרמט את הקשיח ואז בא מישהו עם גוסט שהיה לו והוא העלה את המחשב עם המערכת שלו.

it could be that the cd he had is a bootable windows XP aka windows live cd (one that loads from the cdrom), there is lots of them out there but they got nothing to do with True Image, true image creates images and after u restore these images u get ur computer back to the state it was when the images was created but that includes restoring the image to the harddrive, if eather ur friend restored the image to the hardrive or he had a bootable windows xp cd, but u dont create a bootable cd's with true image, u create backups and with true image bootable cd u restore these backups to the hardrive

אתה יכול.. פשוט אל תתקין דרייברים.. זה הכל..

ואני לא יודע באיזה תוכנה אתה משתמש ליצור את הghost אבל ברובן אתה יכול לבחור במחיצה והוא גפ מפרמט לך אותה לפני שהוא מעתיק את הקבצים

ואם אתה ממש רוצה להגדיל תתקין את כל התוכנות שאתה אוהב ותעה sysprep ככה אתה גם תוכל להגדיר הכל מחדש..

לא לא לא ידידי הרוכב חס וחסה .

אין כאן עניין של חוסר אמון פשוט רציתי לעורר גם תגובות של אחרים

ובאמת ראיתי את מה שכתבתי לכן רציתי להתעניין בנושא.

ואם נגיד לכל מחשב אני עושה גיבוי כזה אז זה אפשרי במקום פירמוט לשחזר מה גיבוי את המערכת ??

i thought he was asking if he can boot windows from the cd, thats why i said NO, as of the ghost itself, there is still cases that different chipsets wont boot windows after restoration

lets say an image created on sis chipset on pentium 2 wont boot on VIA chipset with P4 or even AMD system

אני מעולם לא נתקלתי בזה, אתה פשוט מתקין דרייברים נכונים אחרי השחזור..

תיקון: אבל אני לא אומר שזה לא יכול לקרות, תנסה יעבוד סבבה לא יעבוד.. לא נורא..

try it, the Hardware Layer between the 2 pcs is different thus the restored image wont boot

לי יש בבית P4 ו Athlon 2800 יש לי גוסט אחד של XP שאני משתמש בו לשנהים והם עובדים פיקס..

ur lucky , u have a compaitable HAL in both

האם אני יכול מהדיסק שיחזור שיצרתי לעשות בוט ולשחזר למחיצה ?

after creating a bootable CD with true image, yeah u can use the restore the image to a partition and resize it as u wish

note that the image u created is not found in the cd created with acronis true image, u eather add it manualy or have it on the harddrive or a different cd
