yet another story of a fucked up NEC.

I know it used to burn RWs, it did before, now whenever I try to burn RWs (DVD-RW) it says invalid command could not perform start disc at once.

note that it work perfectly with CD-Rs and DVD-Rs

any ideas? I'm thinking about trying a different firmware but I don't know which...

ניסית למחוק אותו עוד הפעם? (מחיקה מלאה בעזרת cdspeed).

forgot to mention, I only used Nero. and yes I did a full and also quick "format", doesn't help and it doesn't matter, it happens the same way with blank DVD-RWs as well...

אם כך אז נשמע כמו בעיה בצורב אבל לא ממש בטוח.

נסה להשיג מדיות RW אחרות (עדיף מדיה חדשה) ונסה גם אותה.

I tried 2 different verbatim DVD-RWs a few x2 and a few x4, I know for a fact that it could burn the x2, not anymore.

בתור אופציה אחרונה הייתי עושה שני דברים:

1) לוקח את אותה מדיה "בעייתית" ובודק אותה על צורב אחר.

2) קונה מדיית RW חדשה ומנסה אותה על הצורב שלך.

נסה בכל זאת למחוק עם cdspeed ולא עם נירו.
