נתחיל מהתחלה

היה לי 2 סטיקים של 256 MB של GEIL DDR 400

PC3200

(אני מבסס את כל זה ע"י התוכנה CPU-Z)

קניתי סטיק חדש של 512Transcend 512Mb DDR 400 3-3-3 JetRam

הפעלתי את שלושתם על ה GA-K8NF9 לוח אם שלי Nforce4 של GYGABYTE

זה לא עבד

אחרי זה גיליתי שהלוח שלי לא תומך ב 3 סטיקים(דרך הספר של הלוח אם שקיבלתי)

השאלה שלי אם כדאי ליקנות עוד סטיק? כי השלישי לא עובד לי

וכדי שיהיה לי DUAL CHANNEL צריך לשים 2 סטיקים זהים אחד ליד השני או לשים ככה:

512-256-512-256

כי ניראה לי שזה אמור ליהות ככה בשביל DUEL CHANEL כי קראתי בספר שנתנו לי ביחד אם הלוח אם

ואיך אני יכול לדעת, דרך המחשב או תוכנה אם הDUAL CHANNEL פועל?

בשביל DUAL CHANNEL צריך 2 סטיקים זהים בסלוטים המיועדים לכך בלוח האם (לפי ספר לוח האם)

duel channel DDR

GA-K8NF-9 supports the Duel Channel Technology.after operating the duel channel Technology, the bandwidth of Memory Bus will double.

GA-K8NF-9 includes 4 DIMM sockets, and each Channel has two DIMM sockets as following:

- Channel A : DDR1, DDR 3

-Channel B : DDR 2, DDR 4

if you eant to operate the Duel Channel Technology, Please note the following explanations due to the limitation of nVIDIA chipset specifications

1.dual channel memory cannot be used if one DDR memory module is installed.

2.if two DDR memory modules are inserted (same storage capacity), one must be added toa Channel A slot and the other in a Channel B slot in order to use dual channel memory.

you can simply install the memory modules into slots of the same color but we recomend slotting them into DDR1 and DDR2. dual channel memory cannot function if both DDR memory modules are installed on the same chanel.

3. if four DDR memory modules are installed, please use memory of the same storage capacity in oreder to use dual channel memory and for BIOS to detect all DDR meemory modules.

The GA-K8NF-9 doesn't support 3 memory modules. if 3 memory modules are installed, the system will not boot.

הביוס אמור לזהות אותם לבד

ז"א בכל צבע סט אחד? 512X2?

1. איזה מעבד יש לך? אני יודע שזה AMD לתושבת 939 (לפי הלוח), אבל צריך את שם הליבה (אפשר לבדוק עם CPU-Z).

אני אניח שיש לך מעבד חד ליבה. אם הליבה היא Venice, אז תוכל להפעיל 4 מודולי זיכרונות בתדר 400MHz, אבל תצטרך להוריד את ה Command Rate ל 2T. אם זו ליבה ישנה יותר, תדר הזיכרון יירד ל 333MHz כאשר מותקנים 4 זיכרונות. זאת בעיה של בקר הזיכרונות המובנה על המעבד.

אם יש לך ליבה כפולה, אז אני חושב שה Command Rate יירד ל 2T, אבל עדיין תוכל לעבוד בתדר של 400MHz, אבל אני לא 100% בטוח בקשר לזה.

צריך שזוג זיכרונות יהיה בערוצים נפרדים, כלומר באותו צבע.

הבעיה היא כאן - כתוב שיש להשתמש בזיכרונות באותו הנפח כדי שתוכל לעבוד ב Dual Channel, אבל זה לא ברור אם זה מתייחס לכל ארבעת הזיכרונות, או פשוט לכל זוג.

לדעתי הכי פשוט הוא להשיג עוד מודול זיכרון מחבר או לקחת את המחשב לחנות, ולבדוק שם האם אפשר לעבוד בתצורה כזו לפי שקונים עוד זיכרון.
