כן, יש הבדל בין CD ל C2D, ההבדל מסתכם במספר אחוזים עד כדי 7-8 אחוז בממוצע (תלוי ביישומים כמובן).

המבדל שנתת הוא לא רע, באופן יחסי, הוא שקול למעבדי פנטיום 4 שולחניים במהירות 3.2 ג"ה בקירוב.

וכמו כן באופן יחסי שקול בממוצע גס ל C2D 1.66.. מעבד חזק, אך נחשב פחות או יותר לרמת כניסה של המעבדי ה CORE.

בהתחשב שמדובר במעבדי חזקים, אלא אם אתה מתכנן להריץ אפליקציות כבדות, אתה לא ממש תרגיש בהבדל בין מעבד כזה לבין C2D 1.8 גיגההרץ.
