overclocking ATI radeon 9800 Pro - NOT WORKING

Hi everybody,

I got an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro to replace my Sapphire 9600 Atlantis.

with the old card (good passive cooling) I managed to OC the card to: 189=>237, 324=>385 (nice...)

With the new card (it has a fan and it gets power directly from the PSU), I can't OC even by 20hz!!!

What is going on here? What might be the reason?

I'm thinking it might be because my PSU is a little weak (~300W). Can this be the cause of my OC problem?
