I get a message which says that the video card performance has been decreased

because the video card doesn't receive enough power.

My question is, if i'll keep using my spu for about a month and only then buy

a better psu, will it damage my video card?

When not recieving enough power, the GPU is underclocked.

I don't think you can damage the card this way.

As long a the card doesn't heat up too much (and I think it won't, do to the lack of power...), the chance of damage is minimal.

I did, but seems like it's just not strong enough.

disconnect anything you don't need from the PSU.

Like a CD drive or a hard drve you can do without.

Right now, your PSU is overloaded and that is very bad.

If the PSU dies, it might take the video card with it.
