anyways when considering that voodoo 3 cards had a hard limit of 1024x1024 textures, I don't see any reason why any modern day card would have a trouble loading one, though there might be quite a few performance issues and lack of vram.[/ltr]

תקרא את העריכה הסברתי את ההגבלה ביותר פירוט, לא רק מבחינה של ביצועים ומקום איכסון נטו. הדרישה לכרטיס תומך DX9 היא תמיכה בטקסטורות של 2048*2048, תמיכה בSM3.0 מחייבת תמיכה בטקסטורות של 4096x4096, ועד כמה שידוע לי SM4.0 לא מרחיב את הדרישה הזאת.

בדיקה קצת יותר מקיפה.

מינימום לDX8 רזולוציה של 1024x1024.

מינימום לDX9 SM2.0 רזולוציה של 2048x2048.

מינימוo לDX9 SM3.0 רזולוציה של 4096x4096.

מינימום לD3D10 רזולוציה של 4096x4096.

כל כרטיס של nVIDIA הכל מליבות הNV20(מלבד כמה יצואי דופן) תומך בטקסטורות של עד4096x4096.

כל כרטיס של ATi מדור DX9 SM2.0 וDX8.1 תומך ב2048x2048.

כל כרטיס של ATi עם תמיכה בSM3.0 תומך ב4096x4096, או עד 8192x8192 כאשר מדובר בפורמט 3Dc ATI4. בOpenGL כרגע חשוף רק עד 2048x2048 הדרייבר לא עודכן מהR4XX.

Wildcat realisem של3Dlabs תומך ב8192x8192.
