    ובדרך כלל מה "שרשום על הנייר" הוא לא ממש המהירות המעשית..

    ותקשורת טורית יותר מהירה ממקבילית בקיצור כי יש גבול למהירות המידע שאפשר לשלוח דרך תקשורת מקבילית עקב השראות מקווי התקשורת האחרים באותו כבל/צמה (אז בעצם צריך להאט את מהירות שליחת הנתונים בכדי להתגבר על השגיאות) - בתקשורת טורית יש רק קו תקשורת אחד אבל מהיר מאוד מכיוון שהוא לא צריך להתגבר על ההשראות המגנטיות - זה בקיצור נמרץ.
