I have Oc'ed my X2 4200+ yesterday and reached 2700MHZ (11*246) on 1.55v and it's stable...

but now comes the part I don't know about: does the HTT effect my OC?

my friend told me that when I go above 250 fsb I should put the HTT on X3 instead of X4.

Is it true?

*In addition, I would like to know what does the HTT multiplier really mean.

    So let's say that I wanna do another OC on the cpu to 2800MHZ...

    In that case the settings should be:

    FSB: 255

    CPU Multiplier: X11.0

    HTT: X3

    CPU Voltage: whatever it takes

    Ram Voltage: whatever it takes

    Is that right?
