Hello,

I am using the Albatron KX18D II motherboard and I have a serious BIOS problem.

The normal BIOS is unoperational. When I turn the power on the computer doesnt start. there are no green lightes on the led what so ever and the VoiceGene says from the pc speaker YOUR AGP MY HAVE A PROBLEM. this is not the case, it makes the same warrning even when the AGP and/or the memories are not connected.

I tried to clear the COMS severl times with no affect. I tired changing the jumper setting to every option with no affect.

Right now I am using the MIRROR BIOS that comes with this motherboard. It seems that the main BIOS has been infected with a virus or something and its completly destroyed.

The MIRROR one works fine thougt.

Is there a way to copy the MIRROR one to the NORMAL one to fix it?

Is there a way to update the NORMAL bios WHILE working on the MIRROR one?

trying to update the BIOS while using the MIRROR one has resulted in updating the MIRROR one and not the original one,

naturally.

Is there a way to choose which BIOS to update?

any other ideas about BIOS recovery or others way to takle this problem will be welcome.
