    אני מניח שהכונן מוגדר ל-mount קבוע, אז אתה רק צריך לגשת כ-root לקובץ /etc/fstab ולשנות שם את הרשומה שרלבנטית לכונן (תזהה אותה לפי שם המחיצה שלו)

    להעלות את התדר - אמור להיות סקריפט מתאים, ברד-האט קוראים לזה Xconfigurator... לא בטוח איך קוראים לו באובונטו.
