It was probably Calamari only a small one, or "baby calamari" and you can find those in any non-kosher selfrespecting restaraunt in Israel, usualy in the form of cute chewy little rings which is actualy the head, sliced and emptoed of content.

You can buy those fresh on the saturday morning Jaffa fish market and you can find them sizing from 2cm to 80cm. Last time I got about 5kg of medium ones, about 40-45cm each. They're a bitch to clean but it's really easy when you know how. Just make sure that when you peel them you peel off 2 (!!!) layers of skin and not just one, otherwise when you prepare it, it'll taste funny and will have the texture of a jeep's tier. But then again, if you overcook them - you'll get the same effect.

The most reccomended size of Calamari to buy would be 7 to 14cm long.

And no, no human can survive in these depts.

אני הגעתי אישית ל 10 מטר בערך ללא בלונים

שכן שלי מגיע ל50 מטר (דייג שנים כבר)

אז תחשוב מה יקרה לכל ברגל או משהו בעולם מיתחת ל 11 קילומטר
