where can i check if DMA is enable and if not than enable DMA for cdrom / cd-rw / h.disk ?

    Right clicl "My copmuter" go to Properties -> Hardware -> Device Manager

    open the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers, go inside Primary IDE channel,

    and than look at the Advanced Settings, you should it!
