שלום לכולם,

במחשב חדש עם לוח אם ASUS P5LD2 Deluxe (חדש ונוצץ) אני מתכנן להתקין שני דיסקים WD SATA-II 160GB (גם חדשים ונוצצים) במערך RAID1. המטרה היא כמובן יצירת mirror שימנע אסון ואובדן מידע במקרה של קריסת דיסק מאחר ואני עובד עם חומר מאוד רגיש.

רציתי לדעת כמה מסובך להגדיר זאת לבד (ביצעתי הרבה התקנות והגדרות בעבר אבל מעולם לא התעסקתי עם RAID).

המערכת תעבוד על לוח האם הנ"ל שיש עליו שני בקרי RAID לפי מה שקראתי - לא כל-כך הבנתי מה ההבדל ביניהם...

יש למישהו קישור לאיזה מדריך ברור על הגדרת, הרצת ותחזוקת RAID (כולל איך בדיוק מתקינים WIN XP על דבר כזה) ?
