2HD's broken in 18 months... ???? what is wrong

sorry for writing in english, im surfing through winXPE cd so i don't have hebrew keyboard...

i got WD80GB with 8mb buffer.

one got broken after 9 months and now the second one after 10 months

what could be the reason for this ?

i have no idea what is wrong and why its keep hapening...

you can write back in hebrew i can read it....

my PC :

Amd 2400, NEC3520, Cd ROM, 786DDR, Radeon9100 and a generic Power supply...

if any one knows what could be the problem so i would stop replacing hd's i will be gratefull...

    אולי ההרדדיסק מתחמם מאוד.

    כשאתה מתקין את החדש שים איזה 80 מ"מ שיזרוק עליו אוויר מלמטה.

    היה איזה מקרה של הפסקת חשמל/נפילת מתח? או שסתם המחשב קרס ?

    Nothing got crash, it just start making weird noises.....

    the pc works the same only the hd can't read windows out...

    i really don't know what could be the reason maybe just bad luck with 2 diffrent hd's

    btw, at the first 6 months a fan was under the hd only it started making noises so i dissconected him...

    anyone has an idea?

    The circulation inside of your case is good enough ?

    I assume it can be heat problem, worth checking it...

    אני לא חושב שזאת בעיה של חום, באתר של WD מצוין שההרדיסק יכול לעבוד בלי בעיה עד 55c ככה שאני לא מאמין שהוא עבר את הטמפרטורה הזאת.

    אני הייתי מציע לך להחליף ספק בכ"ז, בכדי להימנע כמה שיותר ממצבים כאלה בעתיד.
